Mudcloth is from Mali, each handmade piece is unique and tells a story. Traditionally made by women, pieces are stitched together and dyed over a period of two weeks. It's not perfect, there are slight variations adding to the beauty of each design. All of our indigo has been washed several times to reduce the chance of color transfer however some fading should be expected. Spot cleaning is recommended, if full cleaning is needed dry cleaning is best to preserve color.
