Mudcloth pet bed cover

Pet bed cover made using Mudcloth from Mali (lined inside with muslin for added strength), a durable YKK brass zipper, and features a duck cloth canvas bottom. *This listing is for the cover alone, please see below recommendations for filling. Every cover is handmade! I try to make the best use of every piece which sometimes leads to slightly off-standard sizing. Please check each listing for particular sizing.

FILLING

May be filled with your favorite dog bed, pillows or even blankets/towels from home. I've found there's a different preference for every pet. If using an insert we like to size up a little for extra fluff.

Mudcloth is from Mali, each handmade piece is unique and tells a story. Traditionally made by women, pieces are stitched together and dyed over a period of two weeks. It's not perfect, there are variations in color and pattern, adding to the beauty of each design. All of our indigo has been washed several times to reduce the chance of color transfer however some fading should be expected. Spot cleaning is recommended - if full cleaning is needed machine wash cold, air dry or dry with low heat.
